A governmental agency approached us with a unique request. They needed to encase a very large armor-piercing shell in a thin, durable material, which could be quickly removed under trying circumstances.
We’d had experience manufacturing products for the respiratory care industry. Utilizing a material which seemed up to the challenge, we started with a thin sheet of polyurethane material. Then, by employing proprietary manufacturing techniques, we produced what in effect was a 44” long, custom-fit prophylactic for our client’s “big bullet”.
We can’t tell you how our product performed in the field. We can tell you our client gave it rave reviews, telling us that it exceeded their high expectations.
